Do you love falafel sandwiches at Walmart? Well, they might soon be coming to your local grocery store too.
The company has announced plans to start selling its new line of falafel sandwiches in select stores across the country. Falafel is a Middle Eastern dish consisting of deep-fried chickpea balls stuffed with spiced ground meat or vegetables.
With its headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas, Walmart Inc. is a multinational American retail company that runs a chain of American supermarkets, discount department stores, and grocery stores.
Falafel is a staple of the American diet. It’s an easy-to-make, inexpensive food that can be eaten in many different ways. Falafels are typically made with chickpeas and/or fava beans (which are also known as broad or horse beans).
They may also include other vegetables like carrots, onions, bell peppers, parsley, cilantro, garlic, etc. The most common way to eat them is on pita bread, but they are also served inside pitas or flatbreads for a sandwich.
Falafel sandwiches are usually served with tahini sauce, hummus, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, and sometimes hot sauces. These sandwiches are often sold by street vendors who make them fresh every day. In fact, there are even restaurants that specialize in making these sandwiches.
Falafel sandwiches have been around since the 1960s when they were first introduced in Israel. Today, they are popular all over the world. There are now several companies that sell them in supermarkets and convenience stores throughout the United States.
Falafel on Walmart’s menu will consist of two types: falafel salad and a falafel sandwich. Both contain falafel balls, hummus, tahini sauce, pickles, lettuce and tomato slices, and feta cheese. However, one version contains only falafel balls, while the other includes falafel balls plus falafel sandwich ingredients.
Walmart says it’s planning to roll out the product nationwide within the next few months. The company didn’t say how much each item would cost. But if it sells well, we could see more products from this brand in future years.
