Falafel sandwich was excellent. A whole pita cabbage fried potatoes pickles and with the white sauce that was really good with a lot of falafels to give you a whole pita and it was very good it’s not inexpensive but the food is good thedolmades were ok.

Mizrahi is my go-to spot for my Friday lunches. I love it here. I usually get the falafel pita sandwich. The staff is kind and the service is efficient and my order is always correct. The falafel is the best I’ve had in the United States and the pita is so fluffy. They have a bunch of outdoor tables and they are also open for indoor dining as well. Looking forward to lunch on Friday at Mizrahi Grill!UsefulFunnyCool

Just wow! I come from a place without a single kosher restaurant. Without going into too much detail, kosher food is a plus but not a personal requirement. In my experience, kosher establishments I’ve mostly encountered are stuffy, very overpriced and not very customer oriented, having a mostly captive audience. Mizrahi Grill doesn’t match my expectations, it exceeded all of them.
The food was tasty. The staff was friendly. The patrons were young and family oriented. Oh my gosh! The portions are very generous. The prices are higher than comparable non-kosher establishments, but that’s to be expected. Even so, as someone who doesn’t keep strictly kosher, I didn’t feel like I was being gouged. The food tasted fresh, well seasoned, and worth bragging about. Someone was bussing tables and making seats available without chasing off customers. Everything was great and when I’m in the area, I’m hoping to get back.

Being a huge fan since the restaurant opened in 2008, I believe I have tried everything on the menu. Every item served here is delicious. Their breads in particular — pita and laffa — are outstanding. You could stick pins in the menu blindfolded and create a delicious meal. There is plenty of room to eat inside, but during these warm months it is lovely to take advantage of the outside seating. Sit in the area directly in front of the restaurant or walk a few steps north. When Crossroads Center remodeled the mall a couple of years ago, it added another alfresco dining space with an attractive row of stunning, tall planters.

The sandwich was delicious and more then enough for me. My spouse ordered one also and enjoyed it. I tried a bowl of squash soup and it was pretty good. Staff was friendly. We usually go to Pita Inn in Wheeling which is close for us however this was on the way to the North Shore Theater for some Baroque Music.
